About this Project
ARTÁCI.SK is a Slovak community focused on game art, networking and sharing experiences from the gaming industry.
The project connects students, professionals and people with interest about digital art and game development.
Why was ARŤÁCI.SK created ?
The Slovak game-art community is small, scattered and many people work in isolation. Many gamers never meet people from the same field, have no one to share experiences with, don't know the behind-the-scenes of the game industry, and often don't even know where to start.
ARŤÁCI.SK was created as a space that connects Slovak digital artists, students and professionals from the game industry. A place where you can discuss game art, career, creation, game development and the reality of working in studios. Without tinsel and marketing talk.
The goal of the project is not just to create another Discord server or social network. The goal is to build an active community of people who help each other grow, share experiences and create contacts that can lead to collaborations, work or new projects.
Thanks to the artists
A large part of the visuals used on the site were created thanks to Slovak artists from the community, who allowed us to use their artwork as part of the project's identity.
